Dubai’s dining scene has multiple celebrated names. One such landmark is Kashkan by Celebrity Chef and Author, Ranveer Brar. Apart from giving us the amazing 24-carat gold tadka dal, Ranveer Brar is elevating the standard of Indian cuisine in the UAE. In plans to expand his legacy in Dubai, Chef Ranveer has announced the launch of Kashkan Kissaghar. Get ready to explore more traditional flavours of India brought straight to your plate with a side of some stories.

After Kashkan’s success in Dubai, Chef Ranveer Brar is opening Kashkan Kissaghar at H Hotel on One Sheikh Zayed Road. Expect reimagined Indian dining with a perfect blend of storytelling. The flavours will depict the culinary heritage through contemporary techniques. 

Kissa translates to stories in Hindi, and the recipes curated on the menu are definitely going to tell you the tales of Indian cuisine. Hence, Chef Ranveer Brar calls it his love letter to Dubai. 

Now let’s talk about the ambience. You’ll be greeted by a Banyan Tree feature symbolising resilience and connection. The Mandala Wall is comparable to the Himalayan serenity. The traditional lippan art addition celebrates craftsmanship and community. Not to forget there’s a Wishing Wall that invites guest to leave their wishes and words of kindness.

What’s On The Menu?

Chef Brar has reimagined Indian cuisine for a global audience from Goa to Boston and now Dubai. At Kashkan Kissaghar, you’ll witness culinary excellence that will be a display of regional diversity, forgotten classics, and ingredient-led storytelling.

The new restaurant has a signature cocktail programme. All the beverages curated on the menu complement the food through spice, seasonality, and narrative 

Now for the main element, Food! Here’s what the highlights include:

  • Kaddu Kachori (K2 Special): Sweet and sour pumpkin remade into a crispy deep-fried pie, completed with whipped feta and spiced lentil crumble.
  • Saag Burrata (K2 Special): Earthy North Indian saag paired with creamy Italian burrata for a bold, balanced fusion.
  • Naga Black Chicken Curry: Nagaland chicken cooked in black sesame and chilli paste. This comes with sticky rice and fresh bamboo pickle.
  • Dessert Trio: Dubai-style pistachio kunafa, chocolate mava cake, and Badbi pudding, blending multicultural inspiration with indulgence.
