If you’re always on the lookout for tasty food without spending a fortune, August in Dubai has you sorted. This month, Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) is rolling out something special: meals for just Dhs10 at hundreds of spots across the city. Whether you’re here for the summer or call the city home, this is your chance to try new flavours without stretching your budget. The DSS Dhs10 Dish campaign is launching its first summer edition from August 1 to 31, making it easier than ever to eat well without burning a hole in your wallet.

You won’t need vouchers, codes, or reservations. Step into any spot that’s part of the deal and ask for their Dhs10 dish, no need for vouchers or bookings. Got a thing for saucy burgers, spicy noodles, loaded shawarmas or cold sweet treats? You’ll find all that and more, without spending a fortune. There’s something for everyone.
Here’s Where To Eat And What To Try
Organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the promotion stretches across two shopping seasons: the last leg of the Great Dubai Summer Sale (until August 10), and the Back-to-School season (August 11 to 31).
Asian Favourites Worth Trying
Head to The Noodle House and dig into the crispy Bang Bang Cauliflower Bao. Take a quick stop by Yum Noodle Bar for a comforting bowl of Chicken Ramen. San Wan Noodles is also joining the party with their wok-tossed Chow Mein, all hearty, quick options that won’t cost more than your morning coffee.
Dhs10 for a Burger? Yes, Really
Burger fans, this one’s for you. Shake Shack is rolling out its New York Flat-Top Hot Dog, while Big Smoke Burger has the Mini Maverick on offer. At Bla Bla Beach Café, the Brisket Sandwich is a steal for just ten dirhams. And if you’re after a bit of a combo, Pret A Manger is offering a Cheddar & Pret Pickle Sandwich with an Americano, perfect for a budget-friendly lunch break.
Street Food from All Corners
Dubai’s love for street food shines through this campaign. Try the Samosa Chaat at Samboosa Factory, grab a Chicken Kathi Roll from Mumbai Express, or snack on a Katsu Chicken Slider at Revelry. For those after something truly local, Feka’s Chicken Shawarma, from Dubai’s first Iraqi food truck, is a must.

Something Sweet To Cool You Down
The city’s summer heat calls for ice cream, and you’ve got options. Gelato Divino is offering its classic Classico Cup, while Yoghurtland brings the chill with its frozen yoghurt. Over at Seoul Street Café, the Mango Bingsoo and Matcha Bingsoo are both creamy, icy treats that hit the spot. Even Haagen-Dazs is getting in on the deal, with a scoop and coffee combo that’s hard to resist.
