Hosted at Maison Dali, the maximalist restaurant known for its dramatic interiors and art-led design, the celebration leaned heavily into surrealism. The inspiration? Salvador Dali himself. Every detail, from the decor ot her outfit, was tied back to his world.

For Danya, the theme wasn’t chosen for drama alone. As mentioned in a video interview by Soigné Middle East, Salvador Dali has long been one of her favourite artists, and Maison Dali already carries that spirit through its space and artwork.
Instead of adapting the venue to fit a theme, she joined the vibes. The result felt intentional and theatrical.
Guests received one clear instruction to come dressed as their own interpretation of surrealism, in true Dali fashion. If you could walk into the room, it seemed like everything was turned into a living gallery.

Each guest arrived with a different take on surrealism, from abstract silhouettes to exaggerated textures and unexpected contrasts. Danya’s own look anchored the night.
Décor, Drama, And A Cake With A Twist
Inside Maison Dali, the decor of floral arrangements added softness, turning the space into something warmer and more celebratory.
Then came the cake. Kept as a surprise until the final moment, it quite literally caught fire on purpose. The dramatic reveal became the night’s highlight, earning gasps, laughter, and phones grabbing the moment.
