Ever since the Michelin Guide was announced for Saudi Arabia, we have all been waiting with bated breath for them to release the first names. And finally, the wait is over. Yes, the Michelin Guide has finally unveiled its selection of the first few restaurants. So, 17 restaurants in total have been featured, and four of them have also managed to earn the prestigious Bib Gourmand distinction.
Michelin Guide Reveals First Few Of Its Selected Restaurants
Michelin Guide Saudi Arabia has finally revealed its first selection of restaurants. The list includes everything from fine dining names to fresh talent, and happens to be some of the first to be included as Michelin select restaurants in Saudi Arabia. So covering the cities of Riyadh, Jeddah, and AlUla, here’s a list of the first few selected restaurants from these cities.

Riyadh:
- Café Boulud
A great spot where you can experience French flair by the legendary Chef Daniel Boulud. - Hōchō
Located in the luxurious VIA Riyadh, this eatery brings Japanese finesse and premium Kobe beef. - Ruhi
This restaurant serves authentic dishes and offers a contemporary but traditional menu. - Maiz
The restaurant celebrates the richness of Saudi cuisine with contemporary flair, Maiz and is located in the beautiful historical setting of Bujairi Terrace. - Tofareya
The menu includes Hasawi meat kebabs and Marqooq, to name a select few regional favourites. - Rüya
This is a modern upmarket brasserie, which has a fantastic feel to it.
Jeddah:
- Yaza
The menu here is a mix of contemporary and classical Saudi plates, all bursting with flavour. - Myazu
This is a Japanese restaurant that draws inspiration from traditional cuisine and uses flair and style. - Niyyali
This is a restaurant that directly overlooks the Jeddah Corniche Circuit and boasts spectacular open-air views. - Karamna
Located at Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina and the menu features Levantine-Gulf cuisine. - Toki
A restaurant by award-winning chef, Peter Lau Chee Wei, he makes Chinese food that will satiate your foodie soul.
AlUla
- Harrat
Located at Banyan Tree AlUla, local chefs here use produce which have been directly sourced from AlUla’s sustainable farms. - Tama
Situated at Habitas eco-resort, the menu here infuses global and Middle Eastern cuisines.
