Well, that’s true because the Thai Trade Centre Dubai, which is a part of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government, has announced the Thai Fruits & Food Festival 2026. Basically, this is a month-long promotion which will display Thai rice, vegetables, and seasonal fruits along with Thai food products at supermarkets across the UAE and Bahrain.

What Is Thai Fruits & Food Festival 2026?

The next time you walk into the nearest supermarket, you might end up being greeted by rows of Thai rice, vegetables, seasonal fruits, and a variety of Thai food products. We say this because the Thai Fruits & Food Festival has been announced for the UAE and Bahrain, as revealed by Gulf News. This festival is themed ‘Think Food, Think Thailand,’ and is being organised by Choithrams and Al Maya in the UAE, Ever Spring Industry Limited, and Mega Mart in Bahrain.

Several Supermarkets Participating In This

Shoppers at 31 outlets will be able to enjoy high-quality vegetables, coconut products, pastes, Thai grocery staples, sauces, and select seasonal fruits with up to 25% off on select items. With the festival rolling out in three phases throughout September into October, here are some important dates you will want to know:

  • Choithrams: 16 participating stores from September 4th to 17th
  • Al Maya (UAE): 10 participating stores from September 15th to 29th
  • Mega Mart (Bahrain): 5 participating stores from September 23rd to October 10th
  • Festival Will Run At Choithrams and Al Maya

The overlapping schedule allows the festival to run at Choithrams and Al Maya in the UAE. This is happening through most of September, and it then expands to Bahrain later this month. The festival highlights rise from Thailand, including their automatic Thai Hom Mali rice. Under fresh produce, you can expect rambutan, mangosteen, baby asparagus, baby corn, lemongrass, red rose apple, red chilli, guava, pink guava, peeled jackfruit, Phulae pineapple, green chilli, holy basil, sweet basil, and lime leaves.

Additionally, the festival also offers popular Thai food products and pantry staples. We are talking about green and red curry pastes, soy sauce, tom yum paste, fish sauce, and Thai-style chilli sauces.
