Abu Dhabi has a new fancy eatery. The new standalone restaurant L’ETO has opened at The Galleria Al Maryah Island, but don’t expect the new venue to be the average café you might relate with L’ETO. The restaurant takes L’ETO into the realm of a more upscale day/nighttime restaurant, with fire-forward cuisine, a dramatic interior, and a menu that is prime for lingering lunches (that often spill over into dinner).

L’ETO Unveils Chic New Restaurant At Abu Dhabi’s The Galleria

The cuisine is Mediterranean-inspired but has an international element that fits nicely with Abu Dhabi’s ever-evolving food culture. It is a concept by British chef Artem Login, who wants to give the brand a more restaurant-like feel.

The menu includes yellowfin tuna with potato rösti, red prawns with stracciatella and yuzu, and comforting classics such as beef ragù zita and risotto Milanese.

The restaurant is also big on dry-ageing its own meat and seafood. Dishes include dry-aged Scottish salmon, tuna au poivre and a large bone-in ribeye côte de boeuf to share with a large group. Light bites include Sicilian artichoke salads and artisan flatbreads that make great choices for socialising or late-night snacks.

A Restaurant Built For The Camera Roll

The decor could become a buzzword. The restaurant boasts sculptural lighting, warm tones and a terrace that could be on a Greek island. The terrace, in particular, has a Santorini-like feel. You can bet many people will be reaching for their phones even before the starters.

Late-Night Dining In Abu Dhabi

Perhaps one of the most attractive features for visitors and locals alike would be the hours of operation. It’s open every day from noon to 2 am, making the restaurant a perfect choice for business lunches and late-night dinners.

As Abu Dhabi expands its fine dining offerings, L’ETO’s latest venture is another chic eatery for travellers to enjoy in the capital.
