WatchHouse, the London-born brand known for its design-led coffee spaces and meticulous approach to flavour, is opening its first UAE location in Dubai. The brand is set to arrive at Marsa Boulevard on 1 November. The waterfront setting sits along Dubai Creek. The move marks WatchHouse’s debut in the Middle East. It’s extending a journey that began on Bermondsey Street and grew into a wider Modern Coffee movement.

The Dubai pop-up introduces the brand’s signature coffee philosophy with a menu centred on its ‘Rarities collection’. These small-lot coffees come from producers recognised for exceptional cultivation and processing. Each bean is carefully handled for a clean result and distinct flavour profiles to highlight the origins of the beans. The selection includes:
- Wilder Garcia Gesha from Peru with lemon verbena and nectarine notes
- Los Rodriguez SL28 from Bolivia has hibiscus and blackberry notes.
- Sebastian Ramirez Gesha from Colombia gives lavender, peach and fig notes.
A Menu Built Around Precision
Another highlight is the Golden Cardamom Latte. This drink blends turmeric and cardamom in a chai-led base. The result carries gentle spice, warmth and a creamy texture that reflects WatchHouse’s focus on sensory comfort. Guests can enjoy the drinks by the Creek or take them to go.
Design Rooted In Place
The pop-up has been created in collaboration with Berlin-based architect Kirill Borisov. He’s quite well-known for shaping several WatchHouse interiors in London. For Dubai, the design draws from the region’s desert architecture. It uses a palette of earthy tones, natural textures and subtle references to the barjeel. Modular lines open toward the water, framing the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary across the Creek. The space aims to bring calm to a busy landscape. Expect to witness a perfect balance between the brand’s minimalist aesthetic and the warmth of its UAE setting.

A Thoughtful First Step Into The Region
The new House forms part of a curated neighbourhood where design and food intersect. Hence, Marsa Boulevard is a fitting entry point for the brand’s regional journey. With its focus on craftsmanship, careful sourcing and understated hospitality, WatchHouse aims to introduce a style of coffee experience that blends global precision with local sensibility.
