Located in Business Bay, Cocina Tres marks the group’s third concept. It’s swapping reggae beats and vinyl vibes for coastal Mexican flavours and ceviches. Also, the setting feels built for long afternoons but can quietly turn into late nights. According to the official website of Cairo Scene, the opening signals VKD Hospitality’s move into a more food-forward space, without losing the personality that made their earlier venues cult favourites.
A Coastal Mexican Menu With Bold Flavours
This is not your regular taco stop. At Cocina Tres, the menu leans heavily on coastal inspiration, where seafood, citrus, fire, and spice work together.
The ceviche bar is a natural starting point. From there, the wood-fired grill takes over. Baja-style fish tacos arrive crisp and generous, while fideo seco with prawns delivers comfort. And yes, tortillas anchor the entire experience.
A Space Designed For Daylight And Mezcal
Cocina Tres’ space opens up to sunlight, textured walls, and bold hits of colour that feel confident rather than loud. The terrace, in particular, feels dangerous in the best way. One mezcal becomes two, and plans tend to extend.
