Paris’s Favourite Piano Bar, Le Piaf Finally Arrives In Dubai This Month

Dubai is getting another fancy restaurant. But this one sounds a little different from the usual rooftop-and-DJ formula people are used to seeing every other week. Paris Society is bringing its well-known French piano-bar concept, Le Piaf to Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai, on May 20, marking the brand’s first opening outside Europe. And honestly, the whole idea feels less like a standard dinner spot and more like one of those long, chaotic nights where people accidentally stay out until 2 am singing songs with strangers.

Paris Piano-Bar Favourite Le Piaf Is Finally Opening In Dubai This Month

Le Piaf already runs in Paris and a couple of French Alpine destinations, including Megève and Val-d’Isère. But Dubai is the first city outside Europe to get it.

The food matters, obviously. It’s French, rich and very unapologetic about it. But the bigger focus seems to be on the atmosphere once the pianist starts playing.

At first, the music stays soft while people settle into dinner. Then gradually things change. Someone starts singing. Another table joins in. By dessert, the whole room apparently turns into one giant sing-along.

Dubai’s Version Comes With Velvet, Chandeliers And Late Nights

The Dubai branch is opening inside Jumeirah Emirates Towers, right near DIFC and the World Trade Centre area. Pretty fitting location, really, considering the crowd they’re probably targeting.

Inside, it leans fully into old-school Paris glamour. Red velvet everywhere. Gold details. Mirrors. Crystal chandeliers hanging above tables. The kind of place where people suddenly sit straighter the second they walk in.

The restaurant shifts slowly into more of a nightlife space later in the evening, once the DJ takes over from the pianist. So guests can stay for dinner, drinks or whatever the night turns into after midnight.

The Menu Offers A Plethora Of Options

There’s Wagyu carpaccio, oysters, caviar, roasted lobster and black cod on the list. Also, truffle-heavy dishes, because Dubai really does love truffles on almost everything.

But some simpler classics are expected to do well too, especially the roasted chicken dishes and French desserts that already have a loyal following at Le Piaf’s Paris branch. And yes, there’s chocolate mousse with proper French-style chocolate mousse.

Dubai Keeps Leaning Into Big Hospitality Concepts

Dubai’s dining scene already moves fast. New restaurants open constantly. Some disappear just as quickly.

But brands with a strong identity usually last longer here, especially when they offer more than just food.

Le Piaf seems to understand that. It’s selling the full night out. Dinner, music, drinks, singing, and eventually dancing. The kind of place where people arrive saying they’ll leave early and absolutely do not.
