Traveller Shares Video Of Onam Sadhya Aboard Emirates
Username by the handle @Shaijuaugusthy shared a video of their meal on Emirates. Shot during Onam, he gave a glimpse of the Onam Sadhya that he relished in the sky with Emirates. The video started with him showing a paper mat, which resembles a banana leaf. It then shows all the delicious items that were served to him. From what we could see, there was payasam, avial, matta rice, sambhar, banana chips, a fresh banana, chutney, another sweet-looking snack, juice and some nuts.

The video has already racked up over 4,50,000 views, with commenters expressing their pleasant surprise. Many were quick to comment that only Emirates could pull off this grand feast in the sky. While others recounted how they also previously tried the Onam Sadhya aboard Emirates. Some others mentioned how it was truly an epic meal.

Festive Meals Aboard Emirates
Emirates, on its website, mentions how it offers a seasonal traditional Onam feast. Whether it’s Carrot & Pea Thoran or Vegetable Kothu, these are served with Chicken Sukha with Coconut & Spices, which is served with steamed rice. For vegetarian options, they offer sambar and avial, which are served with matta rice and cabbage & carrot thoran. The airline is known for offering a menu that is tailored for people with varying taste buds. Celebrating festivals across the world, the chefs ensure that they create curated menus available in the sectors that the airline serves.
So even though Onam is now over, this glimpse of the Sadhya aboard Emirates makes us want to relish the feast once again.
