Qatar Airways has teamed up with Chef Garima Arora, one of the brightest names in the Indian culinary scene, to bring a new all-vegetarian, Ayurvedic-inspired Business Class menu to passengers flying from Doha to India.

Qatar Airways And Chef Garima Arora Redefine Business Class Dining

This collaboration officially launched on 15 November 2025, and honestly, it already feels like one of those partnerships to make your travel amazing. But be ready, as this might raise the bar for you, and you might not be able to go back to that average flight meal. So, get ready to experience Together, they’re shifting the in-flight dining game, dishing out delicacies that are comforting, thoughtful and full of character.

A Chef Who Already Makes History

Let’s be real: Chef Garima isn’t just another “celebrity chef”. She’s the first Indian woman to earn a Michelin star. She attended her second star for Gaa, her Bangkok restaurant. Few Indian restaurants in the world can say the same. Even fewer can say they did it with a female Indian chef leading the kitchen. This partnership brings in a unique mix of technique with tradition.

What Passengers Can Expect

The menu focuses on Ayurvedic ideas, keeping digestion in mind. Something every frequent flyer will appreciate. It’s designed to feel light yet flavourful. Honestly, very few would know that your food tastes different at 30,000ft, so the chef has to prepare it in a different way to ensure travellers find it scrumptious.

Here’s a taste of what’s on board, prepared by Chef Garima for Qatar Airways:

Appetiser:
Chaat
A bright mix featuring berry sorbet, dal dumplings, sweet yoghurt and a splash of pomegranate. It hits sweet and tangy notes without weighing you down.

Main Course:
My Grandmother’s Millet Khichdi
A warm, comforting Ayurvedic Sattvik-style dish made for travellers who want something wholesome. Served with pickles, condiments and a soothing shorba, it’s the kind of meal that feels both nostalgic and refined.

Dessert:
Masala Chai Mousse
Think aromatic tea, dipped Parle-G biscuits and raspberries filled with candied ginger. It’s playful, familiar and still elegant enough for Business Class.
