Dubai Mall keeps adding restaurants at a pace where, honestly, it’s hard to keep up sometimes. But this new opening might grab attention pretty quickly, especially for people who love dinner with a proper view. Rosa’s Thai has officially opened its new flagship restaurant inside Dubai Mall, and the space is clearly aiming bigger than the brand’s previous Dubai locations.
Rosa’s Thai Has Opened A Huge New Dubai Mall Spot With Fountain Views
The restaurant comes with a terrace directly overlooking the Dubai Fountain, which already puts it in one of the mall’s busiest dining zones. And let’s be honest, fountain-view restaurants in Downtown Dubai rarely stay empty for long.
One of the first things people notice inside is the massive open kitchen sitting right at the centre of the restaurant. Everything happens out in the open. Flames going up from woks, chefs moving quickly between stations, ingredients constantly flying around.
The Open Kitchen Is Basically The Main Attraction
Also, the kitchen is framed by floor-to-ceiling glass, so diners can actually watch food being prepared while they eat instead of hearing random kitchen noise hidden behind walls somewhere.
For many restaurants, open kitchens are more of a design feature. Here, it seems to shape the whole atmosphere of the place.
The Space Pulls Inspiration From Bangkok Street Markets
The interiors lean heavily into Bangkok-inspired styling with bright colours, layered textures and a slightly energetic feel overall. Not overly fancy. More lively and social.
That said, this is still Dubai Mall, so the space definitely looks polished enough for long dinners, group outings and the usual fountain-view photos people immediately post online.
The restaurant moves from daytime lunch crowds into evening dining pretty naturally, too. During the day, it probably feels lighter and more casual. At night, the terrace becomes the centre of attention once the fountain shows start.

Rosa’s Thai Is Expanding Further Across Dubai
This new opening adds to Rosa’s Thai locations already operating at JBR and Dubai Hills Mall. But the Dubai Mall branch clearly feels like the brand’s biggest statement in the city so far.
Founder Chef Saiphin Moore said the goal was to bring the warmth and energy of Thai street food into a larger, more welcoming setting with authentic dishes and fresh ingredients at the centre.
For many visitors, though, the combination of Thai food, fountain views and a live kitchen will probably be enough on its own.
And honestly, that terrace might end up doing half the marketing work naturally.
