If you’ve been waiting for a proper Mediterranean feast in Dhahran, Glasshouse is about to open. The new restaurant joins the Eastern Province’s dining scene this month, and the menu already sounds like one to book early.

Who Is Behind Glasshouse Dhahran

Glasshouse was created by Arrama for Food Services Company, which operates under Alturki Holding. The idea is to blend destination dining with the warmth of a much-loved neighbourhood spot, so it feels special enough for an occasion but comfortable enough for a regular visit.

Rami Khalid Alturki, President and CEO of Alturki Holding, said the restaurant is meant to raise the dining experience in the Eastern Province while staying relevant to Dhahran itself. He also said it has been conceived with a wider purpose, supporting Saudi talent and regional craftsmanship while contributing to the community around it.

What’s On The Menu

The menu is led by Executive Chef Jon Skotidas, who is focusing on high-quality ingredients and a menu that will keep evolving. The approach is a contemporary take on Mediterranean dining, with dishes built for sharing as well as for ordering solo.

Small Plates And Pizzas

Start with the small plates. Expect sea bass ceviche with saffron tiger’s milk, cacio e pepe croquettes with truffle, gambas al ajillo, and buffalo burrata with peach and basil pesto. There are also pizzas fresh from the oven if you want something familiar to share around the table.

Pasta And The Josper Grill

Larger plates range from squash agnolotti to linguine nerano, so pasta lovers are well covered. For something heavier, the Josper grill brings a deeper, fire-led edge to the menu, with whole sea bass, grilled octopus, lamb chops and wagyu ribeye. If you like a smoky finish, keep an eye on those dishes.

That mix of shareable starters, pasta and flame-grilled mains makes Glasshouse a likely pick for family dinners, group catch-ups and date nights alike.

Until then, it’s worth keeping Glasshouse on your list if you live in or travel through the Eastern Province. A new Mediterranean option with this kind of menu is a welcome addition for the area’s food lovers
