Yes, they have set a record for the most expensive coffee cup in the world, and we are here to tell you all about it.
Roasters Sets Guinness World Record
Roasters is a homegrown coffee brand. They have their flagship outlet in Boulevard Downtown Dubai, and on September 13th, they celebrated the milestone of setting a Guinness World Record. This was for the most expensive coffee cup in the world! Priced at a whopping AED2,500, the record-breaking cup truly sets a new milestone.
It Was Priced At AED2,500
This cup features precision hand-poured V60 brew, which is made from ultra-rare Panama Esmeralda Geisha coffee beans. These coffee beans are celebrated for their floral aroma and are known for their layered tropical fruit notes, which truly make a delicious drink. This exclusive drink came along with accompaniments that were infused with Geisha beans, including delicate tiramisu, chocolate ice cream, and a signature chocolate piece that was crafted to reflect the uniqueness of this experience

What Happened During This Experience?
Guests got to enjoy a tableside ritual! A dedicated barista prepared coffee while using a temperature-controlled pour-over kettle. With the help of V60 dripper, a precision scale and freshly ground Geisha beans, this coffee was then served in a handmade Edo Kiriko crystal glass. This is a Japanese heritage piece that’s known for its beautiful and intricate patterns. Complete with flavour note cards, this was an experience complete with aroma, flavours, and texture.
