Three AlUla hotels hold MICHELIN Key distinctions in the 2026 selection. Dar Tantora The House Hotel and The Chedi Hegra have each been awarded One MICHELIN Key, while Banyan Tree AlUla retains its One MICHELIN Key.
Dar Tantora The House Hotel sits in AlUla Old Town and is built from restored historic mudbrick homes. The property combines heritage architecture with an eco-boutique hotel experience.
The Chedi Hegra is located within Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site. The property incorporates historic structures, ancient fort walls and the former AlUla railway station into its hospitality experience.
Banyan Tree AlUla is set among the sandstone canyons of Ashar Valley. The resort combines minimalist design with a nature-focused setting.
Our Habitas AlUla and Caravan by Habitas AlUla are also included in the MICHELIN Guide’s hotel selection, recognised for their wellness, environmental and adventure-focused experiences.
Four AlUla Restaurants Make The Guide
AlUla’s dining scene also features prominently in the 2026 selection. Tofareya is the latest addition to earn a Bib Gourmand, recognising its good quality and good value cooking. Located in a traditional village house in AlUla Old Town, the restaurant focuses on Saudi cuisine and local ingredients, including AlUla oranges and dates.
Joontos at Dar Tantora The House Hotel retains its Bib Gourmand distinction. Its menu brings together Spanish and Levantine influences, with ingredients sourced from the AlUla oasis.
Somewhere, located in the AlUla Oasis, has entered the guide for the first time. It serves Middle Eastern dishes with contemporary touches in a setting surrounded by palm groves.
Returning MICHELIN-selected restaurants include Harrat at Banyan Tree AlUla and Tama at Our Habitas AlUla. Harrat focuses on pan-Arabic cuisine, while Tama follows a farm-to-table approach using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
