From Hotel Employee To Desi Bling, Iryna Shares How Her Dubai Journey Began

Every “how I made it in Dubai” story has a starting point, and for Desi Bling’s Iryna Kinakh, hers wasn’t a yacht party or a designer showroom. It was a hotel front desk. In a candid new Curly Tales sit-down at Amaru, Iryna walked us through exactly how a hospitality job in her early twenties in Dubai eventually led to a spot on one of Netflix’s buzziest reality shows.

A Hotel Job That Changed Everything For Iryna’s Dubai Journey

Once we steered the conversation toward how her Dubai story actually began, Iryna didn’t hesitate. She told Bianca, our ‘In Your Neighbourhood’ host, that she moved to Dubai in her early 20s and started a job at a Dubai Hotel. No family connections, no head start, just a hospitality job in a new country. She spoke about it plainly, without romanticising it, but it’s clear now, in hindsight, just how much that one decision set in motion. It’s also where she’d go on to meet the man who’s now her husband, Dubai entrepreneur Dyuti Parruck. However, that particular story (which involves a very fake palm reading) deserves its own space.

The Quiet Climb From Hotel Shifts To Desi Bling Stardom

Years, a marriage, and two kids later, Iryna’s Dubai chapter looks very different. She’s now a recognisable face on Netflix’s Desi Bling, alongside cast members like Karan Kundrra, Tejasswi Prakash and Pamala Serena. When we asked how it feels to have gone from working hotel shifts to being recognised in public, she reflected on just how much the response has surprised her. “My audience now is 95% female, and I didn’t receive so many compliments before in my life,” she admitted, sounding genuinely a little stunned by her own trajectory. By the end of our chat, one thing was obvious: she’s not taking any of it for granted. “I am happy with the results,” she said simply, raising her glass.
