Dragon Mart, by Dubai Retail, has teamed up with DreamWorks Animation to bring the iconic pair from Kung Fu Panda to the mall for seven days of meet-and-greets, photo moments and themed activities inspired by the film series, organised by Eventbox.
What To Expect
If you have a little munchkin at home, then this is something you can’t miss. After all, young fans get to meet the duo up close before heading into the Warrior Quest! For those who are wondering, this is an interactive training area built for aspiring warriors of every age. Children can try out their Kung Fu skills, pose for pictures with their favourite characters, and walk away feeling like a true Dragon Warrior.
Who Are Po And Tigress?
For anyone who needs a refresher, Po is the dumpling-loving panda who becomes the Dragon Warrior, while Tigress is the fierce fighter from the Furious Five of Kung Fu Panda. Together, they are two of the most recognisable faces in the franchise, making this an easy pick for a family day out.
Since the Warrior Quest is open to all ages, it works as a family outing rather than something only for the little ones. Parents can join the fun, and there is no entry fee to worry about. Whether you are bringing toddlers or older kids, there is something for everyone.
Why Dragon Mart?
Dragon Mart is the world’s largest Chinese trading hub outside mainland China, which makes it a fitting home for a story rooted in Chinese culture and kung fu tradition. The mall says this latest addition is part of its ongoing effort to bring culture, entertainment and shopping together under one roof.
Moreover, entry is free for all visitors! So, this is an easy add-on to a shopping trip. And it’s no secret that meet-and-greets tend to draw a crowd in any mall. So, you might want to turn up soon after opening, if you want a relaxed photo with Po and Tigress.
