In a report by Hindustan Times, it was mentioned that the Dammam to New Delhi Air India Express flight had to make an emergency landing in Ahmedabad. All 32 passengers on board were safely disembarked at Terminal 2. According to the report, security personnel were then conducting a check of the aircraft. This aircraft was diverted to Ahmedabad as a precaution after a crewmember found tissue in the lavatory bearing the word bomb.

The government-appointed bomb threat assessment committee had been alerted immediately, and all the security procedures were initiated quickly. This flight landed, and all the guests were then embarked safely. The aircraft involved in the incident was VT-EXD, which is an Airbus A320-214 (WL).

Now, as revealed in a report by The Aviation Hub, it was mentioned that the police in Ahmedabad are expected to investigate the origin of the note that was found on the aircraft. Moreover, this development comes after several bomb threats that have affected Indian carriers, which have subsequently been assessed as hoaxes after investigations.

With the crew and passenger safety, it must have been a growing experience for them. This flight had departed at 10:25 AM IST from Dammam, and it made its landing in Ahmedabad at 4:22 PM. With the airports and airline stepping up their security measures, further details are expected once the investigation is complete.
