Emirates recently made announcements regarding its resumption of flights to several destinations. But not just the Dubai-based airline, but Qatar Airways also announced its resumption of flights to some destinations. And if you are also planning to travel with either of the airlines, here’s everything you will want to know regarding their announcements.

Emirates Announces Flight Resumption To Some Destinations

Starting with Emirates, the Dubai-based airline has announced that it would be resuming flights to Kuwait from May 1st. This restoration of service comes as Kuwaiti airspace is now reopening. With the gradual return of normal air traffic, this would be according to the schedule, which has been published on the airline’s website, as revealed in a report of Gulf News, which quoted Al Khaleej.

It is expected that the carrier would operate two daily direct flights between Dubai and Kuwait. Not only this, but Emirates will also increase the number of daily flights to four from May 16th, using A350 and B777 aircraft. After this, it would add a fifth daily service from May 21st. Emirates is also expected to resume services to Muscat from May 1st to May 15th by operating five weekly flights on EK866.

Qatar Airways Announces Flight Resumptions

Qatar Airways also announced that it would be reinstating its global network with the resumption of daily flights to Bahrain and Kozhikode from May 1st. This Resumption of flights follows its return of daily services to Dubai and Sharjah from April 23rd onwards. Not to mention, it would also be resuming flights to Damascus from May 1st, which would offer greater flexibility to the passengers. The airline is also advancing its phased restoration of the global network, which would enhance passenger access.

Kuwait Airways Also Resumes Flights To Some Destinations


Similarly, Kuwait Airways also announced that it would be starting flights to several destinations. As evident from their X posts, they have resumed flights to Jeddah, Manila, and Cairo. From April 27th onwards, the plan is to resume flights to Cochin, Beirut, Dhaka, and Colombo. From April 28th onwards, the airline would be resuming flights to Mumbai, Riyadh, and London.
