Abu Dhabi has announced that it will be starting direct flights to Berlin from October 15th onwards. This development comes under the agreement between Etihad and the German airline, Condor. The new route will begin on October 15th for which the announcement was previously made in December. This date was confirmed in Munich on September 11th, Friday.
Abu Dhabi-Berlin Flights To Begin Soon
As revealed in a report from The National News, Condor planes are going to be used for transporting passengers to and from Abu Dhabi and Berlin. The route has been unveiled after Germany recently announced that it will be opening access to Berlin’s Brandenburg Airport to UAE airlines. This announcement also comes during the visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Germany.
It was further mentioned that the first flight will begin in October from Berlin to Abu Dhabi. Condor’s partnership with Etihad Airways means it also extends the flights between Frankfurt and Abu Dhabi. And of course, this also includes connections through the UAE capital to destinations such as Bangkok. With strong demand on the route, there is room for expansion.
