Unlike a normal tourist visa, which permits just one visit, the new visa allows people to come in and out of the UAE many times over five years. It is one of the most visitor-friendly visa options to date in the UAE, with no sponsor or guarantor needed within the UAE.

Who Can Apply?
The visa is open to all eligible applicants of all nationalities who meet the required conditions laid down by the UAE authorities. Applicants shall submit:
- A passport with at least six months’ validity.
- A passport-size photograph of yourself taken recently.
- Valid medical insurance to cover their stay in the UAE.
- Proof of onward or return journey.
- Evidence of sufficient financial means, including a bank balance of at least US$4,000 (or its equivalent) during the six months preceding the application.
Applicants can also track the status of their visa request on the UAE’s official immigration portals through which applications can be submitted.
While the visa offers multiple entries over five years, travellers must continue to comply with the permitted duration of stay for each visit and ensure they meet all immigration requirements before travelling.
