An Indian-origin professional, Tushar Gagerna, posted on LinkedIn a personal story about how the authorities of the UAE managed to cope with an unexpected, highly tense situation. The post hit a chord with everyone it touched, where it mattered most. He recalls the airport crisis response by UAE authorities, which calmed the entire crowd.
UAE Airport Crisis Response Makes Passengers Relaxed, Satisfied And Secure
He had a 1 pm flight to Delhi. Boarding went ahead. Hours passed. Passengers were then requested to disembark at 3 pm. The reason was serious. The UAE had been under attack, compelling it to disrupt its airspace. Confusion filled the cabin. Phones buzzed. Discussions were held in low tones. That uneasy silence set in.
Peaceful Though Not Accidental
According to the report by NDTV, it was not a panic or haphazard update. It was action. Airport teams established a special waiting zone for all the affected passengers within a brief period. Clear signage. Calm staff. Simple instructions. No shouting or shrugging. Water, food and drinks were passed about in silence. Such a little step, but, in times such as these, little is much. One message they send is that you are not alone.
Emergency Visas Changing The World
It is here that people paused in the middle of the scroll. The spot issuance of emergency visas was done to tourists who had not made a hotel reservation, did not intend to be there and had not been covered by any legal measures.
During the geopolitical crisis, when flights were suspended and the airspace was closed, the UAE decided in favour of speed, clarity, and humanity. Security ensured that the visitors were safe, registered, and legally insured.

What the UAE Does When Things Get Sideways
There are enough nations that can be peaceful in times when everything is all right. Only a few cope with it when something turns the other way without any notice.
It was not a time of towers, salaries, or rankings. It was about reaction to pressure. The UAE didn’t scramble. It didn’t stall. It moved.
The next thing the passengers would receive in most locations was to be seated on the ground, and rumours and stale announcements. Here, a lounge appeared. Snacks followed. Visas got stamped. That’s the standard, and that is why so many millions prefer to trust and live, to work, and pass through here.
