Diwali has always been the festival of lights and a feast. Everyone is in the spirit to eat, rest or travel during this festive season. So if you are planning on travelling with Emirates this week, your Diwali feast is on them! The Dubai-based airline has made sure to serve you a bite of nostalgia that would make you feel at home this Diwali. Travellers from India planning their journey with Emirates have in for some special sweet and savoury treats this Diwali, and all cabin classes are covered in it. 

Emirates Adds A Touch Of Festive Treat This Diwali

Imagine flying 30,000 feet above and still getting to feast on your favourite motichoor laddu and more. As stated on the official website of Emirates, the airline has planned a festive menu to treat your taste buds during Diwali. Guests seated in economy and premium economy would be served motichoor laddu, while First and Business Class travellers can enjoy Kaju Pista roll. Both these Indian sweet delicacies would be served on flights between Dubai and cities like Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kochi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram. 

A Festive Emirates Lounge Experience This Diwali 

Emirates’ first and business class lounges in Dubai are also participating in this Diwali treat menu. Travellers, get ready to relish some savoury Indian dishes like onion kachoris, paneer potli samosas, and the chutneys. Also, how can any festive meal end without a dessert? Here, you’ll be savouring the iconic gajar halwa, Kesar Rasgullas, Balushahi and the mango sandwiches. Feeling thirsty? Drinks have been taken care of. An Elderflower Gin Fizz or a berry basil splash has been reserved for Business class travellers, while first class passengers can sip on a Spicy Saffron Martini or a Chai Chat Latte mocktail. Over in Cape Town and Johannesburg, passengers can indulge in gulab jamun or traditional rice pudding, paired with a refreshing mango lassi.
