This development from the airline comes recently after the airline also announced how it became the first one on Thursday, April 28th to depart from Frankfurt Airport’s newly opened Terminal 3. Yes, and the Etihad Airways flight EY 122 departed for Abu Dhabi at 10:30 AM local time. Guests who travelled through the Frankfurt Airport’s Terminal 3, saw the start of a noticeably different airport experience. The check-in and security are in-house in a bright and open space. It is flooded with natural daylight through the floor-to-ceiling windows. There is also a central marketplace that spans 6000 m², which brings together restaurants, shops and lounge seating offering direct views over the apron.
