Dubai International Airport is welcoming travellers in a unique way this August. You can expect everything from complimentary refreshments and treats to personalised welcome signs and even interactive activities at Dubai Airport. Yes, they have rolled out a series of new experiences across Terminal Three, welcoming returning residents to Dubai after their summer. Not to mention, these are also for many visitors who are arriving in the city and passengers who are transferring through DXB. These activities are spread across baggage claim, arrivals, and transit areas.
A Personalised Sign Station
There’s a ‘Make Your Welcome Home Sign,’ station. It is especially for families and friends who are waiting at arrivals. They can use stickers and Dubai-inspired embellishments to welcome passengers. While travellers who are headed towards Dubai Taxi will receive complimentary refreshments & treats and cold towels. These would be provided by Mirzam, Emirates Flight Catering, Emirati District, and oneDXB partners.

Live Performances At DXB
The fun, however, doesn’t just end there. Passengers connecting through DXB will be pleased to hear live performances, which are inspired by the sounds from the region. The complimentary refreshments and treats are also being handed out at the Transfer Desk. These are by Project Chaiwala, Mirzam, Emirati District and Garrett Popcorn. Young travellers who are arriving at Terminal 3 will get to meet mascots from Dubai Police and the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs.
Passengers will also be able to take part in the DXB installation, which is near Gate B28. Basically, travellers will upload their selfie and will be able to become a part of the shared portrait of Dubai, which is displayed in the colours of the UAE flag.
The experiences which are available through August across Terminal 3 are truly making people feel at home the moment they step onto the airport.
