It was just recently that we told you about how Saudi Arabia has introduced a new multiple-entry Umrah Visa. With a validity of one year, it allows eligible Muslims to perform Umrah several times throughout the year without needing to apply for a new visa every time. This initiative was launched by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, which aims to make religious travel more flexible. But with all this information out about the new visa, it is important to note eligibility, cost, and how to apply for the same.
All About One-Year Multiple-Entry Umrah Visa
Talking about the new one-year multiple-entry Umrah Visa, it allows multiple entries into Saudi Arabia. However, the maximum cumulative stay is up to 90 days in the year. Available to Muslims of all nationalities, it requires the booking to be approved on the platform. So, the Umrah permit must be issued through the Nusuk app before a person arrives. Upon departure from the country, the visa gets deactivated, and it gets deactivated once again when the requirements are fulfilled.
How To Apply For The Visa?
Applying for this visa is quite easy; all the applicants need to do is follow simple steps.
- First, they need to book a package on the Nusuk Platform. They will have to select the packages, which are available in the categories of standard, premium, and luxury. These packages include Umrah Visa processing, mandatory insurance, hotel accommodation, ground transfers, transportation, and catering & meal services.
- Submitting the visa application is the next step. Yes, once this package is purchased, an authorised Umrah agency would sponsor the trip, which would process the visa application.
- The next step is obtaining an Umrah permit. Before travelling to Saudi Arabia, pilgrims will have to secure an Umrah permit through the application. Entry is subject to this permit and meeting current regulatory requirements.
Finally, one can travel to Saudi Arabia and perform Umrah according to the terms of the visa and permit. Travellers will again have to comply with the requirements for future visits.
