SpiceJet Introduces Fujairah And Dubai Special Flights
SpiceJet has also opened special flights, which include 14 flights to ensure that it can fly people who are stuck in the UAE to India within a short time.
There will be thirteen flights that will take off from Fujairah, one of which will take off from Dubai. The majority of these are services that will take passengers to Mumbai and Delhi, two of the busiest international entry gates in India. The company claims that the action is meant to clear the backlog that had been formed due to the cancellation of a number of flights made earlier in the week. The Gulf is relied on by many Indian nationals for employment, and therefore, reconnection is a top priority.
SpiceJet also posted on social media that it continues its special services in the UAE as the case develops.
More Than 25 Special Flights Within A Span Of Three Days
These new flights are also along with a bigger initiative of SpiceJet to manage the high number of stranded passengers.
The airline has delivered over 25 special flights in the past three days between the UAE and India. These flights connected cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Kochi, and this benefited the passengers who had been waiting to get assured departures.
Another eight flights will be planned on 8 March and will also connect Fujairah and Mumbai/Delhi.
These extra flights are also important in decongestion, considering that there is high demand for travel between India and the Gulf due to tourism, business, and a high number of Indian employees.
Free Cancellation Waivers Are Extended By Indigo
IndiGo declared a complete cancellation fee waiver of the flights into and out of the Middle East, in addition to Istanbul. This waiver will continue to hold until 31 March 2026.
The relocation enables passengers to cancel the bookings without incurring extra costs in case they change their travel plans because of the prevailing circumstances.
IndiGo has also requested its passengers to check the status of their flights frequently and call its customer care line whenever they require assistance.
