Kuwait Airways Announces 728 Weekly Flights In June; Details Inside

Kuwait Airways, which is the national carrier of Kuwait, has announced that it will operate about 728 weekly flights. These are to 58 global destinations and will be operated in the month of June. This follows after approvals from relevant authorities have come, and here’s all you need to know about this travel-related development coming in from the country.

Kuwait Airways To Operate 728 Weekly Flights In June

As revealed by the Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait Airways is currently operating about 420 weekly flights. These are across 45 destinations, and it covers both departures and arrivals. In June, the operations will include a wide network of destinations. These destinations would include Europe, Asia, Africa and Middle East. In fact, the European routes, such as those of Malaga, Zürich, Moscow, Vienna, Nice, London, Amsterdam, Manchester, Madrid, Barcelona and more are included. Several destinations in Asia are also included, such as Delhi, Kathmandu, Bangkok, Manila, Mumbai, Dhaka, and more.

Jazeera Airways Announces Flights To London


This development from Kuwait comes at a time when Jazeera Airways, which is a carrier in Kuwait, announced the launch of its first direct commercial flights to London Luton Airport. These flights would be from Kuwait International Airport Terminal 5 and would begin on July 8th. There are four flights per week between Kuwait and London. And the move aims to strengthen connectivity between the two countries.

Saudia Adds A321XLR To Its Fleet

Additionally, Saudia also recently announced that it has received its first A321XLR in the Middle East. This is big news as the new long-range narrow-body jet would support international rules. It has become the first carrier in the Middle East to receive this aircraft. And with the key addition, it’s worth noting that this aircraft can fly up to 8,700 km and has a flight time of up to 9 hours.
