Kuwait has clarified that there is currently no confirmed date for the resumption of transit flights through Kuwait International Airport, despite reports claiming that the service would restart on October 1. The Public Authority of Civil Aviation said the information circulating about an airline beginning transit operations from October 1 was inaccurate. The authority also confirmed that airlines operating at Kuwait International Airport had not received any notification about such a decision.

The clarification came from Abdullah Al-Rajhi, official spokesperson for Kuwait’s Public Authority of Civil Aviation. He said airlines at Kuwait International Airport had not been informed or notified that transit flights would begin from the date mentioned in the reports.
This means passengers should not assume that October 1 marks the return of transit services through the airport.
The authority has not announced an alternative date for when transit operations could resume. Any future decision will need to be communicated through official channels.
