Saudi Arabia’s tourism has been surprising us with something new every other day. And now, they are ready with a new gem lined up. ASFAR, the Saudi Tourism Investment Company backed by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has just dropped news of two brand-new tourism projects.
Saudi Arabia’s Tourism Boom Continues With Two New Projects In Al Baha And Yanbu
These two projects are set to reshape how travellers experience the Kingdom. First up ins Al Baha. Known for its cool climate and dramatic terrain, Al Baha is Saudi Arabia’s most underrated gem. According to a report mentioned by ZAWYA, finally, its value has been understood, and it’s getting a major upgrade with Gamra Adventure Park. The project will be developed by ASFAR’s subsidiary Jabal Khaira.
Forget your average park. It’s designed to harness the rugged beauty of Al Baha’s mountains. Expect an adventure playground with hiking trails carved through ancient rock, zip lines and eco-lodges. Visitors can witness the beautiful nature. This park, apart from giving you front-row seats to the magical nature, will empower local communities by creating jobs, promoting small businesses, and anchoring the area’s tourism future in sustainability.
Kaynouna Beach Club, The Coastal Spirit Of Yanbu
Meanwhile, Kaynouna Beach Club is gearing up to take over the Red Sea coast with a fresh, vibrant energy in Yanbu. Another ASFAR subsidiary, Baheej, is the name behind this project in partnership with Tamimi-AWN Alliance. Expect this seaside project to be a mix of leisure, culture, and local charm.
Kaynouna is here to capture the authentic rhythm of the coast. Visitors will be greeted with open-air dining, laid-back beach vibes, and experiences inspired by the city’s maritime heritage..
Both Gamra Adventure Park and Kaynouna Beach Club are slated to open in 2026.
