Saudia Airlines Aviation Company Provides Free Rebooking And Refunds

The airline indicates that the move will help to alleviate the stress that comes with travelling, but at the same time maintain safety as the core principle in all decisions made.

Adaptable Travel Services For Passengers

According to the report by Saudia Airlines X account, passengers who are subject to schedule changes have a number of options available to them that they can select as per their circumstances.

The travellers are able to rebook a flight within the Saudia network at no additional cost. In case they do not want to travel instantly, they are also able to change their ticket into travel credit to be used in the future, with a validity period.

The other alternative will enable passengers to shift their travel dates without any extra charges as long as there are seats available. This choice will be open for 14 days of services being resumed on the impacted routes.

To the people who would rather cancel their trip, another choice of a full refund without a cancellation fee was also made available with Saudia.

Passenger Connectivity Alternatives

Customers whose travels involve having a connection passing through Jeddah or Riyadh can experience delays in case their connecting flights are offline.

Three options are available with the airline in such scenarios. Travellers are given an option to resume when services resume, request alternative Saudia routing or just choose the Travel later option to store the ticket until no penalties are imposed.

Latest Route Updates

Saudia has also posted updates with regard to some destinations that were affected.

The flights to and out of Amman, Kuwait City, Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Manama are still suspended until March 12, 2026 (11:59 pm), but some flights may still be undertaken.

In the meantime, the cancellation of routes to Moscow and Peshawar is on until March 15, 2026.

Dubai Flights Have Also Been Resumed, Albeit On A Smaller Schedule

Before taking off on a trip, travellers are expected to do certain things before the flight.

Saudia has encouraged passengers to make flight bookings before visiting the airport. The travellers are advised to only continue with their booking as long as it is confirmed.

The airline will keep sending updates on the basis of the contact details attached to each booking. In case a flight is cancelled, travel agents should call the agents directly to rebook.

As the circumstances continue to evolve, Saudia reports that it will continue to re-examine its operational plan and provide more information as it becomes available.
