Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Announces Entry Fee For Visitors

It was recently revealed in a report that entry is no longer free at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Yes, visitors who hold a UAE Emirates ID will be charged AED5 while tourists will have to pay AED10. Moreover, visitors who are over the age of 60 will get free entry, while children who are under the age of three and people of determination can also get access to the vast complex without having to pay an entry fee.

It Offers Tours At The Mosque

It should be noted that tickets can be booked from the official website of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre. In fact, visitors can also make the reservation up to one month before they plan to visit. It’s worth mentioning that this mosque is open to visitors from 9 AM to 8:30 PM from Saturday to Thursday. On Fridays, the visiting hours are from 9 AM to 11:30 AM and then from 2:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Not only that, but the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre also offers cultural tours. These often last anywhere between 30 and 45 minutes. The tours at the mosque explore its cultural role in promoting coexistence and tolerance. Not to mention, it also explores the history behind its construction. These tours are held from Monday to Sunday at fixed times of 11 AM, 1 PM, and 5 PM. On Fridays, these tours are available at 11 AM and 5 PM.
