To help the travellers who have been stranded, there has been a partial resumption of some flights in the UAE. However, GCC airspace continues to remain largely closed. As it happens, Oman-based airlines are now offering bus transfers from Sharjah to Muscat. Yes, Salam Air and Oman Air are offering these transfers for stranded passengers in the UAE.
Salam Air And Oman Air To Transfer Passengers Via Bus
As revealed on X by Salam Air, the bus transfers will operate from March 3rd to March 5th. This service will run in the morning from 9 AM to 5 PM and in the evening from 8 PM to 10:30 PM. It should be noted that these bus transfers are basically for the passengers who were unable to travel to their onward destination from the UAE. So, once the bus arrives at the Muscat International Airport, passengers who have confirmed booking in advance with either of the two Oman-based airlines will be able to continue with their journey towards their onward destination.
The Bus Will Be From Sharjah To Muscat
As revealed in a report of the Gulf News, travellers have been advised to book their flight tickets in advance. After all, the service is only available to visitors eligible for a visa-on-arrival in Oman. So the visitors must ensure that they meet the Oman entry requirements before they book. Not to mention, Oman offers a visa-on-arrival to approximately 100 nationalities, and travellers must check their visa eligibility through the official portal of the country evisa.rop.gov.com.

The Tickets Must Be Purchased In Advance
Travellers have also been asked to arrive at the designated Sharjah station 30 minutes before departure. All of these tickets must be purchased in advance, as no tickets will be available to purchase at the Jubail Bus Station. Moreover, the bus service is operated by Mwasalat, which is the national transport company in Oman. The bus is going to transport travellers from Al Jubail Station to the Muscat International Airport. So, the passengers are advised to contact Salam Air and Oman Air directly for any queries and clarifications.
This development comes at a time when Dubai International Airport, Abu Dhabi Airport, and Sharjah Airport have begun some flights to help the stranded passengers.
