As revealed in a report of the Gulf News, travellers from the UAE will now be expected to present a valid health insurance and accident insurance throughout their stay. This must have a minimum of 30,000 Georgian Lari, which is approximately AED40,898. This development comes at a time when Georgia has become one of the top global travel destinations, as revealed by the GNTA. With the country welcoming a record 5.1million international visitors in 2024, the country has previously revealed that the UAE is an important tourism market for the country.
