On the early morning of Tuesday, February 10th, Dubai Airports saw some disruption in operation. This happened due to adverse conditions that affected flight movements added to airport in Dubai. We are talking about Dubai International Airport and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International. Flights were impacted at these airports, and here’s all about it.
Flights Affected At Dubai Airports Due To Adverse Weather
Due to the adverse weather conditions, flight operations were disrupted at the Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport. As revealed in a report of the Gulf News, this resulted in the cancellation of 12 flights. Moreover, 23 inbound services had to be diverted as well. In fact, the Gulf News also revealed how Dubai Airport’s spokesperson mentioned these numbers of affected flights and the reason behind it.
Dubai Airports Working Closely With Partners For Minimal Disruption
However, it’s worth mentioning that Dubai Airports had been working closely with the airlines and service partners to ensure that there was minimal disruption. It should be noted that whether is a key factor for travellers in the coming days. Yes, as mentioned by the NCM, the forecast has revealed that it could be generally fair to partly cloudy skies from Tuesday to Saturday. As per the NCM, they could also be humid nights and an increased risk of fog or missed. This is especially true for coastal and inland areas.

What Does The NCM Predict?
However, coming to the temperature, it is expected that the temperature will reach between 30° and 32°C in coastal and internal areas. The mountainous regions can see cooler conditions that could range from 17° to 22°C. As it happens, there will be continued monitoring throughout the week.
It is expected that similar conditions of fair to partly cloudy skies may persist, with there being a gradual rise in temperatures mid-week. So, airport authorities alongwith airlines are continuously monitoring the conditions closely. And it is therefore advisable for travellers to stay updated on their flight schedules during the early morning and late night periods. After all, it is only during the period when the visibility gets affected.
