Flights in the UAE are gradually getting back to the normal track; however, travellers must anticipate a few bumps in the process. UAE Airlines are operating on fewer routes, and passengers are being urged to check their bookings before visiting the airport since the regional airspace is slowly opening up.
Emirates, Etihad, Flydubai & Air Arabia Share UAE Flight Status Update
Flight operations in airlines such as Emirates, Etihad Airways, Flydubai and Air Arabia have been updated. All carriers are providing flexible opportunities, including rebooking, refund, or travel credits to the passengers who were affected by the cancellations.
Emirates Flights Operating With A Restricted Schedule
According to the report by The Gulf News, Emirates has resumed flights with a restricted schedule as the airspace controls are still limited due to airspace restrictions. The individuals who have been affected by the disruptions between February 28 and March 31 will be able to reschedule their travels to travel on or before April 30. Online or by means of travel agents, a request for a refund may be made.
One more crucial remark: city check-in services in Dubai are still closed.
Etihad Provides Travel Advice Till March 15
The Etihad Airways has published its new flight schedule that includes its services up to March 15.
Customers who have prior bookings will be included in the flights that are available. The airline, however, asks passengers to be sure of their booking position prior to travelling to the airport. Any tickets booked on or prior to February 28, which are to be used in travelling until March 21, can be rebooked without charge on flights scheduled until May 15.
Etihad also cautioned travellers on counterfeit social media accounts that promise refunds, saying that the airline does not request them to provide passwords or any form of payment information via the internet.
Flydubai Resumes Its Operations
Flydubai has restarted its operations with reduced flights. Customers who made their flights between 28 February and 31 March have the option of rebooking another flight within 30 days without extra fees.
It is also expected that travellers shall spend more time travelling, as in some situations, flights might follow temporarily rerouted routes. The airline provides the ability to make bookings and changes via the website, mobile application, contact centre, travel shops or by agents approved by the airline.
Air Arabia Is Slowly Returning To The International Routes
Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah are also some of the destinations where Air Arabia has resumed limited flights.
The airline is already flying to several cities in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, and some of the destinations include Vienna, Athens, Istanbul, Nairobi, Bangkok and destinations in India and Pakistan. Passengers are given options of one free date change within 30 days, a travel credit voucher or in the form of full refund.

Check Flight Status Once At Home
The common message in all the airlines is to check the flight status beforehand. The travellers are advised to watch the official airlines, update their contacts, and not to visit the airport without a booked ticket. There are schedules that are capped at the moment. Airlines, however, claim that services will grow slowly as things stabilise.
