Wizz Air UK Launches First-Ever Direct Flights From London Gatwick To Madinah!

There are many pilgrims from around the world who travel long distances for pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia’s Madinah. And specifically catering for those in London, the first-ever direct flights have been launched between London Gatwick and Madinah by Wizz Air UK.

Wizz Air UK Launches London Gatwick To Madinah Flights

Catering to the pilgrims hailing from London, the first-ever direct flight has been launched between the two destinations. Yes, Wizz Air UK has taken this initiative, and it will be operating daily flights. With more than 1,74,000 seats offered annually, the new route will make the holy city all the more accessible. Additionally, reaching the holy city will also become more affordable for travellers from the UK. So, with the latest addition to the growing network of destinations, Saudi Arabia becomes the newest addition to this renowned airport.

Airbus XLR To Be Used On The Route

At this point, it’s worth mentioning that this is the second Wizz Air UK flight that uses Airbus XLR aircraft. This flight operation uses the long-range aircraft after its connection between London Gatwick and Jeddah. Yes, this connection was launched earlier this year and has helped serve many people.

It should also be noted that Wizz Air UK serves many destinations. It offers flights to Europe and the North Africa region with almost 19 destinations from the UK. The airline also offers many direct routes. These are not just from London Gatwick, but even from London Luton, connecting the country to popular destinations across the world.
