Recently, an intoxicated flyer aboard a Dubai to Kerala flight was arrested for harassing a flight crew member. Yes, this happened after he deboarded in Hyderabad on Friday, November 28. Here’s what went down during the incident!
Man Detained On Dubai To Hyderabad Flight
As revealed in a report of the Gulf News, a flight staff member from Dubai to Hyderabad reportedly found a note with abusive and lewd remarks on the man’s seat. The cabin crew had complained about the passenger, who happens to be a native of Kerala. It mentioned how the passenger was intoxicated during the journey, and the air hostess complained of the man touching her inappropriately.
Once the plane landed and the ground staff had been apprised of the situation, the passenger in question mentioned that he had lost his passport. When the crew went back to look for it, they found an offensive note, as per a report of Times Now.
Case Registered Under Several Sections
As a result, the passenger was arrested and was later produced in a local court. This man was held after a case was registered under Section 74, Section 75 and other relevant charges. Although such incidents are sadly uncommon, it is still traumatic for the aircraft crew. Therefore, authorities always urge passengers to respect boundaries and to treat their fellow passengers and airhostesses with consideration.

Another Incident Of Assault On An Airline
This news of harassment comes after recently, a man was arrested for assaulting on Sri Lankan Airlines. Mentioned in another Gulf News report, the Saudi national had been arrested for assaulting two flight attendants on a Sri Lankan Airlines flight. This was from Riyadh to Colombo, and the incident occurred in October. When the situation escalated, the pilot alerted the ground staff, after which the suspect was detained upon landing.
