The Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission has launched the fifth edition of the Riyadh International Philosophy Conference. This happened at the King Fahd National Library, and it is a three-day event. It is being organised by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, and the theme this year is, ‘Philosophy Between East and West: Concepts, Origins, and Mutual Influences’.
2. Sharjah Police Directs to Remove the UAE National Day stickers
The Sharjah Police has issued an advisory urging motorists to ensure that they remove all national day stickers by December 6th. Additionally, they’ve also been asked to remove decorator vehicle wraps by Saturday. As reported by the Gulf News, this comes after the directive by the General Commander of the Sharjah Police that these celebratory decals must be taken off to ensure there is road safety and the organised appearance of the streets of the emirate
3. Sheikh Hamdan Attends Graduation Of The Officer Cadets
His Highness Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Crown Prince of Dubai, attended the graduation of the second cohort of officer cadets. He attended the Zayed Military University, which is in Abu Dhabi and congratulated the graduates. The families were also beaming with pride on this achievement. The cohort is a distinguished group of men and women who see knowledge as their armour and service to the nation.
4. Dubai Officially Joins Global Resilient Cities Network
As revealed in a report of the Dubai Media Office, Dubai has officially joined the Global Resilient Cities network. This brings together leading cities from around the world. Especially those that are committed towards enhancing urban resilience and sustainable development. This membership reaffirms Dubai’s stature as a global model for crisis and risk management.
5. Dubai To Will Host The OCEANMAN World Final Championship
Dubai is all set to host the OCEANMAN World Final Championship. This begins today and will take place until December 7th. This is in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council, and the finals will take place at Kite Beach. Here, more than 2,800 swimmers hailing from 93 countries will be competing. As it happens, it also includes 1,200 national champions from around the world.
6. Saif Ali Khan Spotted In Doha
Recently, Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan was spotted in Doha. This comes after the Bollywood actor recently also announced that he is now, “Home away from home,” as he purchased a luxury property at The Pearl Qatar, back in April. The development also comes after his wife, Kareena Kapoor attended the F1 events in the city.
7. Guide Oman To Happen In December
Oman’s Empty Quarter, which is located in the majestic Dhofar Region, will see the Guide Oman Epic happen. This will be happening from December 12th – 16th, wherein the cars will take on the epic journey of 300 km. They will be taking on a challenging expedition, which is on one of the world’s most immense and untouched deserts. The journey would cover approximately 300 km and would certainly be an adventure of a lifetime for the drivers.
8. SUSHISAMBA In Abu Dhabi Opens Its Terrace
SUSHISAMBA, which is located at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, has finally opened its ground-floor terrace. Yes, it’s perfect for a relaxes meal and comes with a striking bar and is perfect for a relaxed meal.
