For design lovers, Downtown Design Riyadh is making a return to the JAX District. It’s coming back for the second edition, and this follows a successful debut, which took place in May 2025. With the fair being scheduled, it is now taking place in September.
Downtown Design Riyadh Returns In September
Downtown Design Riyadh was originally scheduled for February. However, it has now been rescheduled, and it will take place from September 15th to 18th. For those who are wondering, this is a high-quality design fair, which will be taking place in partnership with the Saudi Architecture and Design Commission of the Ministry of Culture. As such, these samples need international design plans and regional experts for an exclusive four-day event. Supporting the growing design scene in Saudi Arabia, it also highlights the talent created in the kingdom.
What Can You Expect From The Event?
For those people who are wondering what they can find at the fair, they will be able to spot some original and high-quality designs. Additionally, there will also be limited edition works from both international and regional studios. Not only this, but visitors can also expect that for the second edition, the fair will showcase some of the most renowned and established names. However, it’s worth noting that much of it is speculation as the details are not out yet. Yes, for the 2026 edition, these details are still under wraps.

Wide Range Of Established Names
Talking about the previous year, there was a wide range of established names that were present at the fair. Iwan Maktabi and Natuzzi were there alongside emerging local studios and internationally renowned platforms, showcasing their designs. As it happens, it also includes talks and panel discussions at the forum. With the series of live presentations, industry masterclasses, and active discussions, this promoted interaction and dialogue amongst the attendees.
Finally, a lineup of creative installations, bespoke concepts, and pop-ups was also featured, which were showcased throughout the fair. So, with there being an exclusive lineup for the people, this is an event that you absolutely wouldn’t want to miss.
