Dubai Roads and Transport Authority recently revealed on X through a post that they have launched a new loyalty scheme, which comes into effect on November 21st, which is today. Basically, through the scheme, the public transport users in Dubai will get a chance to earn rewards if they ride the Dubai Metro, Dubai tram or any other public transport regularly.
What Is nol Plus Initiative?
As revealed on X by the Dubai RTA, there is a new nol Plus initiative. This initiative rewards those people who ride public transport regularly. Basically, the public transport users in Dubai enjoy loyalty points through the new scheme while riding the Dubai Metro, Dubai tram, or any other public transport. As it comes into effect on November 21st, which is today, it will allow shoppers to earn and even spend points at top retail destinations. So, these points can be spent at places like Dubai Mall and other retail destinations where the scheme is valid.
Here’s How To Do So
According to the website, all you need to do is sign up, which would allow the transformation of payment into points. Once you start earning points, using your nol card, you can redeem them for whatever you like. As it happens, this reward system is a part of the newly upgraded nol Pay app. Complete with new features and a smoother design, it allows users to easily navigate through the app. With the aim of upgrading the nol system, this is being done using the account-based ticketing technologies.

3 Memoranda Of Understanding Were Signed
The development comes at a time when RTA recently signed three Memoranda of Understanding. These were with KHDA, Parkin, and PayPal. The deals would allow users to grab dinner and even pay for parking or visit top attractions with their card. Doesn’t it also absolutely fantastic? Well, as you save money while travelling through public transport, you also simultaneously earn points that you can then redeem at trusted merchants.
