Yango Group & noon Minutes Announce Collaboration
As the service is deployed across several communities in Dubai, it will soon be scaled across the UAE and the wider GCC region. This would be on the basis of the operational performance and customer feedback from the initial deployment. As it happens, the autonomous, fully electric robots by Yango Group have already started fulfilling quick-commerce orders. These are from noon Minutes in the Sobha Hartland community.
How to Choose This Option?
Basically, residents can select the noon Minutes delivery directly in the app during their checkout. Through this, thy can then track the robot’s progress in real time on the map. After the robot reaches its location, one can open the secure compartment upon arrival using their smartphone. Offering an additional contactless delivery option, this launch has truly shown how autonomous delivery is the future that’s right here.
The launch has also shown how autonomous delivery can easily be plugged into noon’s last-minute network, thereby giving the customers a fast and tech-driven way of getting their essentials delivered.

What About Its Functions?
Talking about how these robots’s function, these are fully electric robots. Yes, and they independently plan the routes while manoeuvring around obstacles. They also give way to pedestrians and have already completed over 1,500 km of fully autonomous travel in previous pilots in Dubai.
Supporting day-to-day delivery in the real world and residential environment, this initiative has been built on prior approval from the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority. As a result, it has been integrated swiftly and safely into the streets and residential areas of the city. These are authorised to operate in the public walkways and residential neighbourhoods.
