With 2025, coming to an end, several airlines have performed quite well when it comes to offering fantastic service to the flyers. And at the 32nd annual World Travel Award, the UAE shone bright. After all, Emirates ended up bagging five global accolades and Etihad Airways took home three awards. This event was held in Bahrain, and we are here to tell you all about it.
Emirates Earns 5 Awards At World Travel Awards 2025
With Emirates adding to its portfolio of over 20 accolades received in 2025, the latest titles celebrate the airline as a leading brand in the travel industry. It has ended of snagging five awards from the World Travel Awards, and these are as follows:
- World’s Leading Airline Brand 2025: Emirates
- World’s Leading Airline Inflight Entertainment 2025: Emirates
- World’s Leading Airline Rewards Programme 2025: Emirates – Skywards
- World’s Leading Airline – First Class 2025: Emirates
- World’s Leading Airline Lounge – First Class 2025: Emirates First Class Lounge At Emirates Terminal 3, DXB
This is a big deal, as back in November, Emirates was also voted as the best airline in the world for the eighth consecutive year at the ULTRA Travel Award.

Etihad Airways Also Wins Several Awards
However, not just Emirates but Etihad Airways has also managed to score big. The Abu Dhabi-based airline has earned three awards at the Bahrain event. Yes, they took home the following accolades:
- World’s Leading Airline Customer Experience
- World’s Leading Airline Economy Class
- World’s Leading Airline Lounge Business Class
Coming to the Middle East, Qatar Duty-Free was given the World’s Leading Airport Duty Free Operator 2025, while Qatar Airways won World’s Leading Airline to the Middle East 2025. Qatar Airways managed to earn two other awards as well. These were for World’s Leading Airline 2025 and World’s Leading Airline – Business Class 2025.
The Middle East airlines ended up snagging the spotlight for multiple awards; it’s not wrong to say that the airlines are performing well. And are managing to earn global recognition for their stellar services.
