1. Dubai Sees Spike In Influenza

It was recently revealed by Gulf News that healthcare facilities in Dubai are reporting a rise in patient visits. This comes after the National Day holiday, and this has been driven by influenza and respiratory illnesses. So, people have been advised to take care and ensure they’re vaccinated.

2. With A Redesigned Website, Sharjah Municipality Goes Digital

It was recently revealed that Sharjah Municipality has now unveiled its newly redesigned website. With eight fully integrated digital services, this is a part of the emirates’ effort to enhance public services. They also plan to improve the customer experience through this enhancement.

3. Uganda Cultural Events Conclude

At the ongoing Riyadh Season, the Uganda Cultural Events have concluded, and now, the Ethiopian culture has launched. As reported by the SPA, people will get to immerse themselves in their culture as they visit the festival ground at the Al Suwaidi Park.

4. Oman Air To Launch Muscat-Taif Flights

As revealed by the Gulf News, in January 2026, Oman Air plans to launch a Taif to Muscat service. This is expected to begin on January 31st 2026, and this would be the fifth destination in Saudi Arabia by the airline. Yes, it already flies to the destinations of Jeddah, Riyadh, Madinah, and Dammam.

5. Oman Marks SAF Day On December 11th

Oman marks the Sultan’s Armed Forces Day on December 11th. This event would perpetuate the historical national compliments that were made by the Sultan Armed Forces. Additionally, various branches of the SAF will hold events that showcase their contribution and progress over the years.
