Etihad Airways is an Abu Dhabi-based airline, and Qatar Airways, which is based in Doha, hardly needs any introduction. Known for their fantastic service to flyers, these Middle East-based airlines have been named some of the world’s top airlines. Yes, this prestigious recognition was given in the 2025 AirHelp Score.

As revealed by Etihad Airways in a post, the airline has been named one of the world’s top airlines in the 2025 AirHelp Score. They have managed to earn an impressive overall rating of 8.07 out of 10. In fact, it has managed to score the second spot! Not only this, the airline managed to climb nine places in just one year, which shows its dedication towards improving its services for customers.

As it happens, in just one year, this massive improvement was made by the airline, placing it firmly among the industry’s global leaders. For those who are wondering, AirHelp Score is widely regarded as a reliable and transparent airline ranking.

AirHelp Score 2025 Reveals The Top Airlines

Assessing carriers on three factors, this is on the basis of what matters most to travellers. Yes, these factors include on-time performance, customer opinion, and claim handling. And it seems that this year the results are based on flight data, which have been collected from October 1st, 2024, to September 30, 2025. Besides this, it’s on the basis of surveys of over 11,500 passengers from across 60 countries.

Coming to the first spot, it was earned by Qatar Airways with an airline score of 8.16. With Middle East airlines performing extremely well on the list, it’s time to name the top 10 airlines in the ranking.

Not only this, but the ranking also helps list out the world’s best airports, and for its 2025 list, Doha Hamad International Airport managed to secure the second spot with a score of 8.52 out of 10, and Riyadh’s King Khaled International Airport in Saudi Arabia managed to score 8.47 out of 10, claiming the third spot.
