Saudi Arabia Streamlines Departure Procedure For Umrah Pilgrims
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has revealed the procedures for the departure of Umrah. Warning against those who are overstating their visas, they have also issued the deadline for departure. Yes, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, on the other hand, has urged pilgrims to coordinate with the Umrah companies. They must confirm the travel schedule, and they should complete the checkout arrangements with the accommodation providers. As mentioned in a report of the Gulf News, it was revealed that they have been advised to ensure a timely transfer to the airport.

Umrah Visa Holders Must Not Overstay
Pilgrims have been asked to ensure that they arrive at least four hours before their departure. The authorities in Saudi Arabia have also set the final deadline for visas. They must leave the kingdom by April 18th, and the authorities have stressed how overstaying would result in penalties. These could include fines, imprisonment, and deportation. The Ministry of Interior has also warned the citizens and residents that they must not transport, shelter, employee or assist pilgrims who are overstaying their visa. Violators are therefore going to face strict legal consequences.
As it happens, Umrah service providers must also report if there’s any case of overstaying. Additionally, they must note that if there is any failure to do so, it would result in penalties.
