1. Saudia Offers Limited Period Discount

Saudia, which is the national airline of Saudi Arabia, is giving up to 50% off for a limited period. Yes, this is an offer on flights in Saudi Arabia and all the other international destinations. However, it applies to one-way and round-trip flights for guest and business classes only. Seats are, however, subject to availability, and the booking period is only until January 31st. However, your travel period can be until March 31st, so if you are making travel plans, you might want to consider this.

2. Etihad Airways Cancels & Delays Flights To Pakistan

Due to adverse weather conditions in Lahore and Karachi, passengers were affected on January 15th, 16th, and 17th. Etihad Airways flights have either cancelled or several flights between Abu Dhabi and Pakistan. As reported by the Gulf News, while several flights were delayed or cancel, for January 17th, which is today. Some were also cancelled due to the poor weather.

3. King Salman Leaves Hospital After Medical Tests

After undergoing medical tests, King Salman left the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh on Friday night, January 16th. As reported by the Saudi Press Agency, the king had undergone medical examinations at the hospital, and the reports were reassuring!

4. Masterpieces Of The Saudi Orchestra To Be Held In AlUla

The Saudi Music Commission is organising the ‘Masterpieces of the Saudi Orchestra’ on January 22nd and 23rd in AlUla Governorate. This is under the patronage of the Saudi Minister of Culture, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan. As reported by the Arab News, this event comes as a continuation of the journey of the Saudi National Orchestra choir. It aims to showcase the kingdom’s music heritage in the leading local and international theatres.

5. Burj Khalifa Lights Up For Day Of Solidarity

As the UAE is marking a day of resolve, there will be nationwide displays, as fighter jets and helicopters will be sweeping across the skies of all seven Emirates in the afternoon. In fact, late on Friday, Burj Khalifa, which is the tallest tower in the world, was illuminated with the ‘Day of Solidarity’ logo, the façade transformed into a vertical canvas, which was visible across the Dubai skyline.
