According to studies, it is said that 76% of Gen Z and Millennials say that they are planning a holiday on their own. Here’s a survey by Travelbag that shows some of the safest cities for solo travellers.

Travelbag Reveals The Safest Cities For Solo Travellers

Travelbag, in its recent survey, analysed the daytime and night safety scores of more than 36 global destinations. These were based on the Numbeo Crime Index. As it happens, Abu Dhabi has topped the list with a safety score of 92 for daytime and 87 for nighttime. Dubai has taken the second spot with a score of 91 during the day and 83 at night. As a result, the two cities are named amongst the world’s safest destinations for solo travellers. However, on the basis of this, here’s a lookout at the top five destinations that are safest for solo travellers.

4. Muscat, Oman

However, this is just on the basis of safety. There are, however, other factors that also influence solo travel. Yes, this includes the cost of drinks, public transport, visitor acceptance, average temperature, and even English proficiency. So, safety while being paramount, is not the only factor. On the basis of all the factors, here are 10 of the best destinations for solo travellers.
