It was recently revealed that Midad Real Estate Company has now announced a major joint venture. This is a joint venture with Jeddah Central Development Company, which is owned by the Public Investment Fund. Additionally, it’s also with Kerzner International, which is the global hospitality group behind the world-famous Atlantis and One&Only resorts. And it seems that they are bringing these two renowned names to Saudi Arabia.
Atlantis and One&Only Resorts Coming To Jeddah?
As revealed in a report of Gulf News, during the TOURISE Global Summit, a partnership was signed. This partnership will allow the first-ever Atlantis and One&Only destinations will be brought to Saudi Arabia. Both of these would be located within Jeddah Central, which is a transformative waterfront district. Located on the Red Sea coast, this destination is being designed to become one of the premier tourism and entertainment destinations in the kingdom.
Transforming Jeddah Waterfront
With the aim of truly transforming Jeddah Waterfront, the two flagship destinations are bound to elevate it as a world-class leisure and cultural landmark. Coming to Atlantis Jeddah, there would be branded residences, the Lost Chambers Aquarium, and even the first Aquaventure Waterpark. Besides, there will be more than 20 dining venues, a waterfront entertainment pier, and a slew of luxury retail outlets.

What to Expect?
On the other hand, the One&Only Jeddah Resort would offer rooms, villas, suites, and even the first private home community of the brand in Saudi Arabia. So, you can expect everything from seven signature dining venues to Club One Wellness Centre, private beach access and even exclusive event spaces. Both of these developments would reflect the heritage of Jeddah Corniche through its contemporary architecture. With coral-inspired landscaping, it’s truly going to be a sight to behold.
Incorporating eco-conscious design and energy-efficient systems, sustainability will be at the heart of both these projects. Additionally, the landmark collaboration showcases its emergence as a dynamic coastal destination, which would refine the tourism and hospitality standards in the region.
