2. UAE Eid al-Fitr Prayer At Mosques

The General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowment, and Zakat has announced that Eid al-Fitr prayers will be held at the mosques across the UAE. Yes, this will be limited to the mosques and will not be held in Eid prayer grounds or open areas. As it happens, this initiative has been taken in coordination with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai. And it is also in coordination with the Department of Islamic Affairs and Sharjah. The measure has been taken to ensure the safety of worshippers.

3. UAE Extends Remote Learning

UAE has extended distance learning beyond the spring break. As revealed in a report of the Gulf News, schools across the country are preparing to meet all the eventualities. This is to ensure there is continuity of learning. As it happens, the distance learning will continue for two weeks after the spring break ends on March 22nd.

4. Gulf Air Adds Destinations To Temporary Dammam Operations

Gulf Air, as revealed by the Bahrain News Agency, has added destinations like Cairo, Casablanca, and Chennai to its temporary Dammam operations. This development comes as Bahrain airspace continues to be temporarily closed, with the airline temporarily operating some flights through Dammam. Transportation will be arranged by Gulf Air between Bahrain and Dammam for passengers holding confirmed bookings.

5. SalamAir Signs eSIM & e-Visa Partnership With Arcube

SalamAir, which is the low-cost airline in Oman, has signed eSIM and e-Visa partnership with Arcube. The strategic collaboration with the UK-based travel technology company showcases the airline’s commitment towards enhancing passenger experience. These newly launched services have been integrated into the digital booking platforms.
